For Zlata, inspiration comes from her home, Nizhny Novgorod, a large city on the Volga River in western Russia. Within her pieces, she tries to make a connection with time, to catch a moment, to capture it. As Zlata collects an architectural image, color palettes - the mood of the cities from her travels, it becomes obvious for her to note how today organically connects with history.
