KRISTINE FIVE MELVÆR FOR WHEN OBJECTS WORK

Norwegian designer Kristine Five Melvær bridges the two disciplines and focuses on the communicative potential of objects in order to create emotional bonds between object and user. She works freely across product categories and materials, and often beyond the product itself, and into art direction and graphic design.

By reinterpreting traditional still life motives, Kristine Five Melvær tells the story of a changing shape. This soft vase can be used on both sides: for a single stem or an entire flower bouquet.
