Designed in 1954, a timeless piece as visually impacting in today’s décor as it was when designed in 1952, the Two Arm Wall Sconce by Serge Mouille is part of an iconic line of insect-inspired fixtures that stood in stark contrast to the heftier designs of the time. Handmade in France, this fixture exhibits Mouille’s distinct balance of expressive and minimalistic style, with two slender arms of lacquered aluminum extending from a shared wall mount. Its adjustable shades are formed into artful shapes at the end of each arm, with the upper arm offering general illumination and its angled lower arm lending more direct task lighting.
Serge Mouille offers mid-century and French modernist lighting fixtures that are recreations of the designer’s original pieces created in the 1950s and early 1960s.
