Heather Rosenman creates ceramic vessels and sculptures rich in form and texture. She is a New York native, currently based in Los Angeles. Her collections are informed by a deep appreciation of ceramics, modern art and the history of design.
With focus on redefining positive and negative space, the written word is visually translated into symbols. Each module is cut from porcelain, black stoneware or sculptural stoneware, carved by hand to create a textured surface and then pierced to facilitate the stringing process. The smaller modules are created from the negative spaces of the larger pieces.
