Lisa Viscardi creates minimal, one-of-a-kind, hand-built stoneware vessels and sculptures, that in their simplicity and muted palette, evoke feelings of clarity and calm.

Working with clay is grounding and makes Lisa feel present and peacefully alive. Bringing that energy into the work, she smoothens out the rough, unresolved areas of the clay and of herself as she builds.

Born in New York, Lisa received a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons School of Design. She now lives near the ocean in Santa Monica, CA.
