For artist and Armadillo co-founder Jodie Fried, ceramics is a natural extension of her lifelong love for artisanal craft and the beauty of the handmade. With a background in costume and production design for theatre and film, she has always been drawn to the tactile. Over time, working with clay became a meditative practice—one that deepened through careful study, experimentation, and an appreciation for the nuances of the material.
