Collection Particulière is a design production company launched in France in 2014 by Jérôme Aumont. Aumont’s company is dedicated to editing collections that revolve around the idea of motion: the stroke of the designer’s pen, the caress of the maker’s hand, and ultimately, the way an object’s owner will use the piece and make it their own. Collection Particulière is an exploration into technically challenging processes and noble materials, such as wood, marble, leather, brass and ceramic.
Torch is not a floor lamp like the others. Not a fragile, unsteady structure going wherever the wind leads. Torch rather is of those who impress by their silent calibre, their brutalist poetry. Composed of a powerful marble base with delicate veins, on which rests an oblong glass globe.
