Oskar Strnad (Austrian, 1879-1935) designed these simple cylindrical crystal containers with lids as early as 1916, beginning a fruitful partnership with Lobmeyr that lasted until the 1930s.
Lobmeyr glasses are first mouth-blown, then cut, engraved and polished by hand. Every single product is handled with the care of at least 18 hands during production. Many details are taken into consideration for the perfect balance of shape and function.
