ENTE arte objeto is an art and design project based in Mexico City, founded by Carmen Castillo in 2018.  Ente's creations are handcrafted by Mexican artisans in an attempt to bring the nature of the stone to the realization of functional and aesthetic pieces. The conception of each piece is the result of experimentation of thoughts and ideas that evolve to finally convert into utilitarian design.  

 Carmen Castillo studied International Business in Mexico and holds an MBA from Babson College. She started designing as a hobby for friends and family. Her lack of formal design education did not hold her from pursuing her hidden passion in art and aesthetics. She considers herself a work in progress where there's a constant quest for artistic achievement.
